The Communist Party of china is seizing mill lines churning out the planet’s supply of safety gear — sparking fears the nation is currently preparing for a second wave of the coronavirus, American traders from China told The Post.
New Yorker Moshe Malamud, who has done business in China for over two decades, was transferring tens of millions of pieces of protective equipment to the U.S. in the height of this crisis but stated providers lately had been overwhelmed with orders from the Chinese government.
“I had been putting a larger order with a number of the larger distributors and he informs me,’I can finish this purchase but after this we’ve been contracted from the Chinese authorities to create 250 million dresses,'” explained Malamud, that lived in China for ten years before founding aviation firm M2Jets.
He said he noticed a story about another manufacturer making thermometers.
“We hear the way China is up and functioning and also the virus will be passed themso I inquired,’What are they ordering 250 million dresses ‘ And of course no one is talking.”
“I have been hearing this a lot from additional production institutions that state,’We can give you a little bit, but essentially we’re concentrated between today and the conclusion of the summer producing materials for the Chinese government in anticipation of another tide,'” he continued.
Last month, top U.S. producers of health safety equipment told the White House which China had banned them from exporting goods as the crisis mounted, a Post report revealed.
